Have you ever tried to measure distance so here is good comparison for Distance sensors such as Sensor name/Sensor type/Approximated price/Range/Frequency/Power Voltage/Typical consumption/Dimensions and Weight.

I know, before post i search for comparison distance sensor in forum but nothing!
Here is full wide range comparison and most of sensors are available now.

I'm confused why someone would put together a chart like that and fail to include one of two parameters I would look at first, accuracy per cost...  Yes, I know I could click through all the datasheets but IMO an accuracy column is pretty much a necessity...

I have personally used the cheap $2 delivered ultrasonic modules (HC-SR04) from Asia on a few products, not super accurate but for $2 they work wonders and make great close proximity detectors as well as basic distance sensors...
