Seems to me all you'd need to do is add a readme file to the rar or zip, which changes the hash code, and you're invisible to a DMCA file takedown.

Or is it they examine each files hash? I'm pretty sure the process of opening zip and rar files is pretty automated these days. In  which case, the non compressed files get the hash checking.

But your point stands, a simple modification to a PE header or slight difference in video frame and it blows the hash. Done and done.

But really, encryption FTW.
