Enjoyed electronics since a kid as hobby, especially audio and RF.  Did Work professionally as radio/TV/media serviceman for brother for 2 yrs full time, couple part time after starting college. I have a huge accumulation of schematics, service manuals, as well as electronic books and magazines. For a decade upon becoming disabled, I restored vintage radios, then went back to more modern circuits, though often incorporating older concepts Why join?  To share the same interests as those in this group, especially to learn, there always something new to be learned, always another question to be asked ..or if not, remain ignorant and uninformed.
