I have made a spice model for the popular audio amp lm386 and tested it in Circuitmaker 2000, one of the "easy to use" simulation packages. Unfortunately  this package has been abandoned by Altium who purchased it from Microcode. CM2000 is a very good simulation program for someone who wants to start with simulation.

This model can be easily used in Proteus too.
