Your company should be paying for software for your job and for materials for your papers.

Your company making a commercial profit by stealing from other companies is not ethical or legal, and if you are intentionally infringing, in some countries you pay three times the damages in penalties, and your customers will shut you off for not conducting business ethically. Sharing is not stealing, but when you make a profit off of material you didn't pay for, THAT is stealing.

For you, you lose your job for doing this if the company is not aware of your attempted heroics in "saving" them money (which is really stealing from someone else and putting it towards the company's profit).  In this global economy where there is large unemployment, is that worth the risk?
