Hi this is my first post in this forum and I wanted to share something to you
this is part of my last project and this part is a 1-50 mhz frequency meter using pic18f452 and mplab-c18
this can be modified for other ranges.
I hope this will be useful for somebody.

Thanks for sharing. Have you thought about using the capture compare module instead, to avoid the potential inaccuracy in your timer ISR caused by the PIC18's 16 bit read/writes to the timer registers?

If you look at the code before reading the frequency i make the LATA4 out put and make it 0 .
using this the timer 0 clock disabled and in the ISR period we have no clock in the pina3
