Hosting sites

I see that a number of hosting sites seem to use the same front page to collect your money.

Are there any hosting site that share the same subscription ?

If I buy one, will I have access to others ?

Buy only one subscription of the more popular hosts and (since you don't contribute postings or information) donate to Sonsivri what you saved in not buying the others to keep the servers plugged in and lights on. IMO, it's the least a non-active member could do for the >$5,000 in s/w they've picked up for evaluation/hobby/learning so far.

I am sure "best" and "most popular" have been discussed many times.

I see that Rapidshare" gets a lot of traffic.

Would this be the "most popular" host site available ??

I would make a list of sites you download from.
if your files you need are large, use the site that has what you need.
for small files use "free account" if you regisiter for a free account on most sites,
you may get cut in waiting time.
if your trafic is large then you may need two or more paid accounts.

I have megaupload & rapid accounts mostly for film & music.
