I greatly appreciate all the effort people here have gone to in making available useful software, so I hope I am not being greedy to ask:

Does anybody have the Linux version of CCS's PIC C Compiler? Or know where or how to find it?

There is a related post on this subject on this board, from ~3 years ago, but nothing I can find with Google.

Thanks for your time,

If I´m not wrong i think it will run under wine.
See the MPLABX under the modules for css.
See inside of "org-ccs-MPLABXplug.jar" from MPLABX the file ccsc.languageToolchain.xml -> Line 69
Code:
<mp:defaultLocation mp:hostplatform="linux" mp:dir="/opt/PICC/"/>
  <mp:defaultLocation mp:hostplatform="linux" mp:dir="/home/c11319/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/PICC"/>

Bye
