Note	I'm a hardware design engineer that's ended up doing more firmware than hardware in recent years. My early experience was motion control specializing in precision microstepper drives followed by some years of communications protocol analyzer development at the late, great Wandel & Goltermann. Of late I've been using the ARM Cortex-M3 family for meteorology sensor development after years of AVR proselytizing, and am now a firm 32-bit convert.
