Hello
Mikro is working on a new PIC32 compiler, it is to be released on Mar 2011, i think its will be a great place to start with pic32,
but we have to wait and see how it performs, in general i like the mikro compilers since a little kid can use them and they are
great to play with.

check it out and tell me what  you think.

Peace.

Of course, but at the cost of performance. I preffer hitech C as its performance is highly optimized. I can say 10 out of 10 rank.

I cant see the point of going to a PIC32..

I used to use 8051s...Got stung once with Triscend..but generally having lots of vendors was a big plus..

Now ..the Arm cortex M3s have have come down to a price where they rival 8 bitters..and provide a update path into large memories..high clock rates and performance..and advanced ancilliaries...on the same code base and with lots of licencees.

Although I still use the 8pin pic12fs when small and cheap is required..
