Hi SONSIVRI Members,

I spoke with a prospective employer and he told me to look into MONGOWARE. I am not sure if I miss understood but I can't find any resources. I was wondering if anyone has any resources or even wiki style info on the topic. Thanks.

Are you sure they weren't sending you off for a box of assorted ions or a gallon of Einsteinium? Seriously - just to get rid of you? I've been around for a while and I've never heard of this. Sorry - I think they were having a joke at your expense. Maybe they are waiting for you to call back and say that "I've thoroughly reviewed the subject and find no reference...."

The F-15 had a pee tube that was essentially a funnel attached to a tube that was between the pilot's legs. (single use - then it froze) A friend of mine would send the new guy out to check "the communications equipment" in the aircraft, have them place the funnel against their face and talk into it.

Unless you completely misunderstood him (?) I don't know why they would have done this, but we've all had it happen once.

Perhaps it was a Blazing Saddles reference?  "Candygram for Mongo..."

Someone likely dropped the last copy of Mongoware in a bucket of prop wash.
I've heard of such things being available at a hardware store between the
pre-mixed camouflage paint and the Long Weights, not far form the elbow grease
and heavy-duty blinker fluid.

Teach a man to fish and he will sit around in a boat drinking beer all day.

450 mongo is a wildcat that uses 444 marlin necked up to accept 452 slug.
Commonly used to improve slug accuracy on a 410 chamber..

Then again I am rambling, the only commonality here is the "mongo" part.

maybe "mongoware" refers to this
