At49f040 Flash Unlock

Dear All,

Does anyone know how to unlock this flash memory? Now i couldn't reprogramming the data in memory from 0x00000 to 0x03FFF. 

The datasheet just given a command for Boot Block Lockout but didn't give the command for unlock boot block.

Please kindly advice,.

Thanks for your reply and the information. I had do some research on google did get some similar sample code as you given. I tried to analyze the sample code and do some testing but still no working. I will try to check it out your sample code see whether can get the sequence command for that.

I did check all the sample code that you given (eg. flash29.c, bdmflash.c,.. and so on). I couldn't found the unlock flash sequence command in the sample code. We could see a lot of "cmd_unlock1" and "cmd_unlock2" (0x555555.. and 0xAAAAA..) constant variable in the coding but it is not a standard command for all the AT49fXXX function. I did simply tried to write this 2 byte 0x5555 and 0xAAAA(in stead of 0x2AAA) to flash in the first sequence but it wouldn't work.

Is there any other advice? I did tried to unlock the flash almost 2 week but still can't unlock the flash.
