Hello fellows.

I want to share a tachometer I've made programing in BASCOM AVR, its really cheap to build it and only need an ATMEGA16 (8 it's fine too), a LCD 16x2 and a magnetic interruptor (the ones used in domestic alarms). I'll hope will be useful for you.

Man, the first post is promising.... really nice project, I ran the simulation Smiley I was wondering, what is the max speed it can measure? Suggest a real good sensor we can use?

I've tested and I works fine until 3000 RPMs, I have built it and I work for sure. I know there commercial models using hall sensors but I had to figured out myself to build one of my one. I don't know the exact code for a magnetic sensor but I works fine with those used in windows in domestic alarms
