While heater is ON: a short press turns it OFF

Tested during last 5 years. Cool

This could be a good place to apply Microchip's Capacitive Touch technology;
Circuitry can be entirely isolated behind 1/8" thick acrylic sheet and "buttons"
still detect finger presence to activate.

Details are here:  http://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/AppNotes/01250a.pdf

With more complicated device it will be cool, but in my case it is just one button which also accommodates piezo buzzer and a bi-color led.

Working for 5 years so far, that's hard to beat.  Most things purchased at the store seem to break sooner than that!
