Hello everyone,

I've designed a bunch of Off-Line SMPSs over the years, but all of them have been vOut < vIn (Buck).  I've never done a boost off-line circuit.

I need a SMPS that takes 85-265VAC @ 50-60Hz In and gives 375VDC @ 200mA (0.200A) Out.

Can anyone reccomend a good SMPS IC?  Any "Similar" Reference Designs?

Ideally, I would like a simple Non-Isolated (Yes, I am aware of the dangers) Boost style supply.  No Transformer.

Also, I need to implement >90% PFC.  Suggestions on this would also be highly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi PilotPTK

Take a look at attached PDF files. These are the application notes from their respective manufacturers.

L6561 is transition mode pfc controller and UC3854 is average current mode pfc controller. Select as per your power requirement. May be this will help you.

Have a nice day
