Hi guys,
I remember reading a post on the Make website about a project to make an annoying intermitent high frequency bleep emitting device. I can no longer find it, would anyone be kind enough to provide a link?

Thanks,
Will

It might be better if it made a different tone each time, but always toward the upper limits of human hearing.
Seems like that would be more annoying and perhaps harder to locate.

I did similar years ago, double-sided taped it under science teacher's desk.
The very first time it went off the teacher barked my name without even looking up from the paper he was grading.

Thanks for the replies guys, I assumed i was going to get abuse because i answered my own question. Its nice to be in such a nice forum. The links are great sputnik, cheers. Oldvan i agree, it would be much better if the tone emited was a different frequency each time. Looking at one of the links one uses a pic, its much smaller than the one featured at make and also has more versatility i reckon it would be quite easy to add a random pitch as well. I have a pic lying about so i may have a little play around and see what results i can get if i have time.
Thats a good story oldvan - i plan on doing this to one of my teachers, we shall see what happens im generally considered a fairly well-behaved student!

One more thing, regarding thank yous, not allowed to say thank you at all in posts? or can we say thank you accompanied by a message as well?

I think it would be best just to use the thank you button if your post is just going to be a thank you. However, your post above seems acceptable since you commented on other things as well as said thank you.
