I thought that this is a book on smps project and ideas. This is the collections of Power Integration company's application notes. However, your effort is appreciatable as an individual may get so many Top switch/tiny circuits handy without putting an effort to consult power integration company's beautiful software -PI EXPERT. An smps lover will get lot of food for thought from this collection of ideas/projects. Very good effort indeed.

as to PI EXPERT they have messed about with new version, The one released in 2008 (ver 6) was far better.

Anyone who wants to play with these devices and need transformers, go to local microwave repair shop and ask for scraped panasonic control panels. you can then have a 12v plus power supply without to much effort.
