Note	Very interested in solving some interfacing issues with simple (cheap) wireless alarm sensors operating on 2.4ghz frequencies. PIR, Smoke, Flood etc. Since this is the same frequency as 802.11 Wifi I want to re flash the firmware in a simple wifi router to allow it to act as a DAQ interface to send the info to a web page via ethernet and the web.   The technology all pre exists but I don't know how to solve this.  I am a hobbyist but not an electronics engineer and would really appreciate some guidance from those cleverer than me (most).  Thanks for reading this !
