I am looking for info non-micro controller based automation projects.
I need to find how to use general PC processors like 386/486 in electronic automations.

Appreciate any help in this regard.

I am sorry for not being able to convey what I need.
I have done allot of PC based programing, but what I want to know is how to use PC processors without the standard peripherals (like key board, mouse, RAM etc ) for application like CNC.
