Hello everyone. I was recently gifted the above power supply and i want to be able to control it remotely. It supports the KOIB (Kolinker Interface Bus) but i am not able to start the communication. I have read many times the manual but cant get it to work. It uses RS232C standard 3 wires connection (TX,RX,GND). I have the list of commands the pps supports but none of them gives a respond. The settings required as per manual are 9600,8,n,1. I am using USART Terminal to establish the connetion.

I could really use some help.

Tom.

I am afraid the company is closed. It had a software in a 5,25 floppy disk. I didn't get it though. I could scan the manuals that i currently have and upload them somewhere. There are two manuals. One that describes the KOIB interface initialization and stuff and the other one that has the supported commands of the pps.

Do you press a button to get it to connect to the PC, If so could you use serial port monitor to see if it sends out data ?
I did search on the net but could not find it
if it's not to big can you scan the  KOIB interface initialization document ?

You don't have to press anything on it. It has 3 leds as com indicators. REMOTE, TALK, LISTEN. When i send a command to the pps the listen led is activated but i think that REMOTE should lit to indicate succesfull comunication.

Yes i will scan it and send the link...

Downloading scanner drivers...
