I need a lead acid battery charger to charge a 200ah battery, the charger should be non-switch mode type, and the charger transformer is controlled by the primary side.

What you mean by and the charger transformer is controlled by the pimary side ?

Aslo we know it is 200AH but what voltage how quick to you want to charge the batteries 12hr/14hr ,

         I think you can do that by using SCR circuit controlled a primary or secondary side of transformer, but you said "the charger should be non-switch mode type" (SCR is a switch too). If the circuit is out of swithed mode component, how you can controlled the system eg current and voltage that charging your lead-acid battery. Or you can controlled it by hand?

please tell me more,

There are old chargers that use transformers with multiple taps in the secundary side, then you can select the most appropriate voltage for the moment. Another way is transformers with mobile core, but it is very difficult to find. Some electric welder use it.

Lead Acid Batteries are Voltage charged, so why would you want to control from any side?
the main reason they fail is under /or/ over voltage when charging.

The original post is from 2009 and presuming some one may need similar circuit and the need is for a 12 volt charger, this kit is widely manufactured in China and in use at my end and may be many parts of the world too. It is simple and easy to understand. Controls the primary side of the charging transformer and keeps monitoring the battery voltage. As the voltage reaches pre-set level, it switches a relay which in turn switches the primary side of the transformer and starts charging. As the voltage reaches the cutoff level, it switches off the relay thus switching off the primary side of the charging transformer.
