The US government constantly lies to it's people. One extra lie or one lie less it's almost nothing. The only difference is that with this they lied (or not?) the whole world.
Anyway, even if it's true, most of as will never set foot on the Moon. So... why bother?

 Actually, Its not a trivial problem. The astronauts would be wearing bulky space suits, so they needed a flagpole that was easy to assemble and to plant in the ground. Plus, the pole had to be portable, and not use up a lot of precious cargo space. So scientists rigged a telescoping pole with a telescoping horizontal crossbar that was supposed to make the flag look as if it were blowing in the wind. The flag itself was standard issue, although the top was hemmed so that the astronauts would be able to slide it over the crossbar. And the entire assembly weighed less than ten pounds.      Even so, the astronauts reported having some trouble setting the flag up. They weren't able to stick the pole far enough into the ground, and they weren't able to fully extend the horizontal crossbar. And that explains the rippling effect. :-)

People If this wasn`t a truth do you think that the russians won`t tell the world that it`s a fake landing???
the only nation that is capable to chek this are they.They didn`t do it so we can accept that the landing was a truth.

For me the biggest question is not how they land on the moon, but how they comeback to the earth?

- How to leave the moon? That little moon lander wont have enough fuel to pass up the moon gravity.
- How can it travel to the earth? The construction is not for a long journey so the fuel, it will be lost in the space.
- How can it survive passing through the atmosphere? It will burnt off, nothing left.
- Landing with parachute? Thats funny, the parachute will be thorn in pieces as the speed will be very high.

The Russian? We may ask them. But maybe they lie to about the first man on the orbit, who knows?
