I have intention to pass from the 8 microcontrollers to bit to those to 16-32 bit.  Cool I would want to pass to ARM. Which Architecture ARM advised to me in order to begin?  Huh Which architecture ARM advised to me for complex plans?   Huh thanks to all  Wink

ARM Cortex-M3 is the last  architecture,have Thumb®-2 instruction set and 1.25 DMIPS/MHz.STMicroelectronics and Luminary Micro have this type of ARM.

Yes, I agree with digitalmg. Cortex is the one to choose. Luminary Cortex starts with a price at USD1.

I've some ARM-based devboards from Olimex (LPC based) and from Luminary and I've to agree with digitalmg: Luminary is the #1. Luminary is making the DIL-packaged ARMs too, so it's the hobbyist best choice ever.
