i need a help of mini project about a telephone modem:
communicate between 2 posts with a traditionnal modem
the speed is >= 2400 bps
the modems ar interfaced with a mcu (pic ,atmega or other)

What kind of help do you expect ? You have not given enough info. Anyways, standard modems have AT command set for doing jobs such as dialling, going offhook etc. You need to decide which commands are to be sent and use the microcontroller's USART to send these as ordinary strings to the modem. At 2400, you will be able to do this with ease.

yes i need more informations about at command to send some bytes and receive  the responce or a command via a standard modem.
in the internet ,there are theoric information but there is  not a full project with standart mcu , with a full discription (soft an hard)
