Just make the 2 layers in 2 separate boards, then stick them back to back.

Cant get any simpler  Grin

The laser printer method is fine for 2 layer as long as you don't have too many vias... gets pretty hairy trying to drill and ensure connectivity by hand.... if you are doing any real amount of complexity, splurge for PCB-POOL or PCBExpress...

making 2 layer PCB manually is a real pain, specially when you have lot of via hols, the onlything you can do is inserting a wire and solder it from both sides for each via, you can overcome this while you desgin your layout using components the can be soldered from both sides such as ( resistor, diodes and transistors), this may take a longer degin time, but it will reduce the efford while assembling it

hi,

i have my working method, quit easy and save me a lot of time with prototyping. But the problem is that i'm using some little tester pins (some tubes with diff diameters) wich is not so common in your home stores.
Practicly i made my 2 layer boards with toner transfer method, drill the vias, and on the special locations, like under the component i put this special tubes, solder and after that cut it.
Where is not realy need it, i place just a normal wire as a vias.
But under the special THT component like connectors, i solder this tube, and after that place the component pins trouth this vias tube.
i hope that i give some ideeas. but the problem is to find this little things...
