I am a bit confused. The only links I can see are for 4.068 update. I don´t have older versions to updater and also don´t have a ccs 4.068.
Is there any link for 4.068 (without having to update)?...or installing the 4.068upd is enough?

Thks

Hi there!

I have successfully installed version 4.068 and compiled an old 16F84 example. I know I am applying the keyfilegen file properly as I can see my name/company in the CCS version window. However I am unable to compile any code using more than 2K of ROM. Is there a way to overcome this? This is my first experience with this compiler.

Really? try to compile this. If you succeed, then my copy is not properly cracked (you can comment out some dummy code to not get the 2k limit error).

Here is what I ended up with after trying to compile your files.

Code:
*** Error 71 "main.c" Line 171(0,1): Out of ROM, A segment or the program is too large    MAIN
  Seg 00004-007FF, 0654 left, need 067D
  Seg 00800-00FFF, 0800 left, need 0971
  Seg 01000-017FF, 0800 left, need 0971
  Seg 01800-01FFF, 0800 left, need 0971
  Seg 00000-00003, 0000 left, need 0971
  Seg 00004-007FF, 0654 left, need 0971

      1 Errors,  0 Warnings.

Let me know if the 4.038 to 4.068 looks like its doing its thing.

I think I know what the problem is. I need to segment the code so that it fits in the 2K bank segments. Does anybody know how to do this? As I said, I am new to CSS.
