I'm using PICKit2 to program PIC24 but it's not work. Because the message always show VDD and VSS is incorrect. I don't know why. Are there anyone see the problem?

Hi,

Do you get this message with or without PIC connected ?

Please carrefully read read the "on chip voltage regulator" part of the datasheet and make sure you wire the device correctly. These devices are pretty picky with their powersupply, so make sure you have enough decoupling Caps on your power lines.

Rgds,

Another thing, make sure you have placed a capacitor on pin VDDCORE. and try to make Pickit2 power up the target. it works ok for me.

did you have an original Pickit2 or a clone ? because some Pickit2 clone have some problem with Vdd voltage.
