I would disassemble the servo and reverse the connections to the motor and the cables on the pot.
This would reverse the servo without any external circuits and you can then use the same input for
them both.

hemlig got a good point. If it's only because your RC car turns the wrong way, his suggestion would be the easiest.

Do you mean you will make the car steer on the rear wheels as well as the front wheels?

Hi,

It is not matter of setting a register.

I would use a DPDT relay driven using a transistor switch,( Servo power wired to the

common of the contacts.) that is activated using

a pin set to be o/p.

Then when you need to reverse the servo, simply enable that port.

Hope I am clear.

Good Luck.

If its a general servo motor the direction can be controlled by the pulse width from the MCU very easily.

Hello,

You are right in this case the type of pulse will control direction.

Search for Servo control on the internet.

Bye.

I've work with servo motion/recognition with dspic but not with 12f510: with an mcu it's easy to implement. Receiver send to servo an high signal with a length between 900 and 2100us (1500us is centered servo arm): this signal is sent approximately, 50 times per seconds. If you want to do implement a servo reverser, just read receiver signal and generate the opposite signal.
For example, if you read a signal of 1250 microsecond, you opposite is 1750 us (1500-1250=250+1500=1750)
