Is it really good for PIC 16 bit MCU? Anybody can tell differences between it and CCS C?
Thanks

C30 is for the 16-bit products (PIC24F, dsPIC30F, dsPIC33F). Microchip doesn’t have an in-house C compiler for the PIC16F (8-bit) family. That's the reason why third-party compiler exist (CCS, Hi-Tech, MikroC, FED, IAR, etc).

hello
C30 is nearest C ansi than CCS.
CCS uses some contants ( for example about the timer ) which are not defined in the pic datasheet.
