Autodesk Inventor and autocad training videos

Recently I had to put my hands in Autocad 2014, I have only used a little bit the Atuocad 8 version and confronting the new one was horrible. I started to look for some training videos and a friend passed me a few ones.

Here they are just as I received them.

Hi,
Working perfectly, even if tested only on the first videos from Essential 01 and randomly some others.
Not a big deal, but good to know some videos are under .mp4 format while some other are under .mov format.
All exercises are attached, very usefull.

Autocad and Inventor are two different tools for two different tasks there are some things that can be made with both but I will never try to make an architectural drawing with Inventor.

I'm using Autocad from time to time mostly for architectural design. I had to re-use it recently for a new house, mostly because architect was giving master files under autocad format (and honestly I didn't tried to convert it).
I use Auto for a while now, and I found easy to re-use when not triggered for long. That was true until they introduced 2014...
I was exactly in same position than marquessalsero, and could not easily recover my bits in menus. Worth watching the videos.

AutoCAD is rather lame for house drawings as compared to Chief Architect, IMO.

You can input/output DXF and DWG from pretty much any CAD package as far as your dinosaur architect goes.

I use Inventor intensively but still can not go away from Autocad, many works are still in 2D - laser cutting is one of them.

I am now looking for a software which can do 2D drawing parametrically, like sketching in 3D drawing package, is there one?

I know Autocad can, but i am looking for a small much simpler software - intended for new user of laser cutting machine.
