Ethernet connectors don't have a standard.
There are many different devices on the market, and the manufacturers don't follow the same rules.
the connectors may include filters,LED,resistors and capacitors.
You need to have the component in your hand before coosing the footprint.

Yes, There are no standard on the Ethernet Jack. as Bepo said, some comes with build magnetics. so you have to choose the one fit your needs. go to
www.digikey.com search "tyco jack" you will find a lot of different ethernet jacks available. follow their link you can find the datasheet and details of pin locations, size, dimension info. too. use it to create your own PCB footprint. (you can modify the existing parts has the similar pinout and move the pins). make sure you have the right locations of holes for the plastic foot stub on the two side of the Jack).
