If ne1 can put up a link to the old IAR PIC16/17 version 2.21C I would appreciate it. I have got the old v2.21A but the 2.21C is 2 years newer so if ne1 has it with a patch pls. upload it somewhere. All the previous links to this version are no longer working.
TIA

Hmm! I have a small problem. I also downloaded Hex patch for IAR Embedded Workbench for PICmicro V2.21C made by zuisti (2004.12.30) from one of the other threads. There are 4 files that need patching iccpic.dll iccpic.exe spic16.cdr spic17.cdr When I opened the hex editor to look for the locations, the data in the locations for the first 2 files does not match the info in Zuisti. readme file. The cdr files are ok and do match but it appears Zuisti developed his patch for the dll and exe files that are dated one month later than the ones provided in the 2.21C update. So I can't patch the two main v2.21c files as I have no way of locating the correct entry points to change the hex values. Does anyone have these files v2.21C already patched or alternatively can someone provide a patch or crack for the update files just posted? Otherwise I'm sort of screwed.

Sorry, but I have never tried it. For the 2.21A I have patched exe, but not for C.

Hi; Found in my archive but it's the full v2.21c, not the update. Please choose what do you want to get: (1) the original four critical files: iccpic.dll iccpic.exe spic16.cdr spic17.cdr (2) these files but modified (patched) by me as I wrote here in the attached txt: http://www.sonsivri.to/forum/index.php?topic=11465.msg52908#msg52908(3) the complete, ready to run (patched and installed) compiler with the EWB23 files (the IDE). I will upload the (compressed) files on the 4shared.com after you answered. or ... see top's post (and the linked chinese site): http://www.sonsivri.to/forum/index.php?topic=26262.msg88804#msg88804Note, it's a 'bit' old and supports only few legacy PIC16/17 devices. But ... this is an IAR compiler ... zuisti

I would open your drive, with care. the arm withe the write/read head is most stuck halfway across the disk platter. you need to gently move it back to the rest position off the platter.
