DeskProto v6.0 32-bit (2510) offers 3D CNC machining for non-machinists. DeskProto is a 3D CAM program (CAM = Computer Aided Manufacturing). It can import STL files from any 3D CAD program, calculate CNC toolpaths and then write NC program files for any CNC milling machine: 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis. DeskProto is aimed at designers for Rapid Prototyping, at jewelers for wax models, artists for sculptures, medics for prostheses, moldmakers, woodworkers, teachers, students, hobbyists, etc.. UPDATE: Reply #6 has a new download link with new medicine.

I'm sorry gabi68, the installer contains both versions, which one is installed, depends on your Windows version, I could not install the 32 bit version on my 64 bit Windows 7, so I had to try it in my 32 bit machine, the medicine works fine with 32 bit but not with 64, sorry again. |

Revision 3571 includes: - In the Basic 3D wizard the supports were cut loose (the wizard did not set the Borders). - Toolpath calculations could crash for: Conic_cutter and Angle_with_X and Always_stay_low on. - A new build for only two fixes, because the supports bug was a very serious one, confusing new users. |

No, but I'm still looking for it (My main computer has Windows 7 64 bits installed), if I find it, I will post it.
Hi! It works for me with the following workaround: 1. Install deskproto (link.txt from last posting here) 2. Install it also in a Vm-Ware with Win XP Mode (mine is XP Mode with SP3) and use the crack. It works here now 3. Copy/replace the whole content of the folder with your folder on your main x64 machine At the first start, it crashed the programm but after secont start it worked fine till now. I dont know, if step 1 is necessary. Please report here, if you had success! Greetings, p i l o t e n s i t z |

Hi,
I am trying rotary axis machining, seems Deskproto is good for this.
Install the DeskProto v6.0 32-bit (3571) both on Win7 32 and 64 (with pilotensitz method), everything fine until saving the generated toolpath - an error like picture below. Anyone experience the same?

The error above doesn't happen with 2510 version. Then i found serial number on Russian website which work on the latest English trial version (4819) making it a working multi axis edition  . But, worry this sn will be blacklisted soon  . -ichan |

You can run any recent trial version in a VM image. This is what I do. Restore the snapshot when 30 days are expired. Be sure to have the following lines in the vmx file (vmware) Otherwise the armadillo software protection included in the software is gonna detect VMware running and invalidate the trial period monitor_control.restrict_backdoor = "TRUE"
