Title: Steering wheel remote control to IR interface
Post by: mago-anthony on December 04, 2006, 07:58:28 19:58
i want to interface the original steering wheel remote control of my Ford Focus with an autoradio that support IR remote control.
I have found this web page that explain the focus steering wheel remote control:http://www.panuworld.net/minidisc/fordsony/index.htm#
Is there anyone that has done the PIC software with PDS to control an IR device learning the code with the original IR remote control?

Thanks!

Several IR protocols - Sony, Philips, others - are well described on the web.  Which radio are you trying to control?

I want to control the Audiomedia AMV 377 but i think that is possible to do a universal interface that can learn the code with the original remote control. Similar to this:
