Title: meCONFIG by Darrel Taylor, anyone ?
Post by: Caaarlo on April 06, 2020, 11:52:42 23:52
Hello,

MPLAB has a tool for generating the configuration header in PIC assembler, and there is also a free tool called meCONFIG that does the same thing in PBP, but couldn't find it. Does anyone have a link to it ?

Also, is there any similar tool for PBP ?
TIA.

Edit: Just saw the rules and I am not supposed to ask for help yet for being inactive. I tried deleting this post, but I couldn't.  ::)

Attached, afaik it's not copywrite so attached directly.

Kindda surprised it's not included in "The Book of DT's INTERRUPTS" (a composite of Darrel's body of work).

Thanks !

And, yes, I was surprised too. I will post a request on the picbasic forum hosting the DT cookbook to include a download link to meCONFIG.

Anyway, are there any other similar tools to make the configuration header ? I´ve seen a very interesting tool for Proton Basic, but won´t work for PBP:

@Caaarlo Yes, John Barrat really excelled himself with that plugin, it realy should be part of the standard install.
