Title: Easypic 7 Post by: Bluemitts on February 09, 2012, 08:11:52 20:11 After using my trusty old Proton mkII development board for a number of years, I have invested in the Easypic 7 with touch screen etc. First impressions are it looks to be a very well made board, so it will be interesting to see how well it works. :D
Now to get done and start learning 'C' rather than using assembler or PBP all the time. I was wondering what any body elses experiences of this board are. I don't like PBP and Basic in general, so I have used Microchip C18 and MikroC to develop.
Now with version 5.40 MikroC is quite good to use. I own also a PICPLC16B board, very good board really. Mikroe has also a lot of interface boards of various type that let you very easy prototyping. All have been great development platforms and are very well put together and all are still working. The layouts are very well thought out and a pleasure to develop on. I have used them with PBP, MikroBasic, and Flowcode. Good choice! |
