Title: [REQ] PIC GSM Dialer
Post by: raidera on September 06, 2011, 07:09:52 19:09
Hello everyone,
I am looking for circuit and firmware of PIC based GSM Dialer for home security system.
The dialer should work with old GSM phones like Siemens and communicate with phones over RS232 protocol.
On alarm signal need to dial 2 or 3 numbers from the SIM card.
Thank you!

check this http://www.sonsivri.com/forum/index.php?topic=13194.0
but there is an easier way, find an old gsm phone enable the "quick dial" example if you press No2 for more than 2 sec it dials a specific number etc. open the cover and connect in each button you want 2 cables connect the to a solid state relay or to a simple relay and trigger the relay from your microcontroller. i have made this project and works fine for over 5 years and costs almost nothing if you want i can send you the scheatic.

I know for SMS BOX http://www.sonsivri.com/forum/index.php?topic=13194.0 but I search for simple input dialer( only one input) and dial 2 or 3 numbers for about 30 seconds each and repeat dialed numbers 2 or 3 times.
