The v5.117 release looks like the usual... fix one problem and bury it in a bunch of minor changes. lol From their newsletter:

Recent changes include:
5.117  IDE COMPILER > CLEAN function now deletes .hex files.  .ccspjt files are are NOT deleted
5.117  Improved RTOS error message added when a task is not defined.
5.117  Updated Debugger not showing RAM for parts with more than 64K RAM.
5.117  Fixed the USE RS232 receive_buffer= option when used with over 4K RAM.
5.117  Fixed spi_read() function to properly wait on newer PIC 18 devices when a parameter is passed to it to clock out.
5.117  Updated i2c_slaveaddr() function to update all slave address registers for newer PIC18 devices.
5.117  #pin_select  now accepts PORTF pins on the dsPIC33CK1024MP710 family.
5.117  All CN pins are now available for PIC24FJ64GB106, PIC24FJ64GB108 and PIC24FJ64GB110 devices.
5.117  Updated PCD Wizard TCP/IP to fix an issue with displaying web pages on some parts.

I entered in a forum topic even if not logged in, does is it allowed ?

take care,

Yes there are open boards (topics) that's why we have requests not to post in open topics, but to use text option.

8.17sp2: I can't import any image to schematic capture (File > Import Image). I tried bmp, png, gif, multicolor, black&white, nothing work. Please test it anyone. Thx.

using a voltage calculator i get 1889.524kohms

Posted on: 2024-04-27, 10:40:59 - Automerged

you can allways lower the 11kohms to get some othe value depending on the values one can get

and how exact you want it to be

the more bits you use the more noice you will have as well 2^16 will give you 1.5mV resolution and that can get noisy this needs to be calculated for as well

This is the schematic  for it.
If I'm correct and if I do the calculations with the 11k and 680k resistor values on the input I would get +/- 573Mv  so for 99V then the 680K would need to be 2M ?

if you dont have the schematics it might get trickier to find the the voltage divider where youu could change the range of the input voltage but i would think it is possible to modify,
unless its potted with some gunk inside or components are wiped of identification numbers

if it is high impedance input you could allwayes make an external voltage divider

Just a quick question it says that the m5stack voltmeter can measure up to +/-36v

I was just wondering would it be possible to modify it so that it can measure +/-99v absolute voltage ?
Here is the unit I’m talking about
