Title: GTP-Lite and Win Vista Working ?
Post by: GreenGiant on August 12, 2007, 01:54:51 01:54
Anyone figured out how to use the GTP-Lite on windows vista ?

That is, found a working driver?

Seems the Microchip Generic USB driver (mchpusb) is not Vista compatible.

Mind sharing the link/files for mchpusb and vista that you are using ?
Specifically the .inf and .dll/sys

If the mchpusb driver works properly on Vista (or a derivative) then GTP-Lite will also work as it uses standard functions in the mchpusb drivers (just requires some minor edits of the genric .inf) . I simply cant find a set of mchpusb drivers that donot give an error 10 code on vista.
