Title: My New PC - top of the range
Post by: pickit2 on July 10, 2010, 10:57:59 10:57
I bought a new pc as I was hit hard with a virus.
PC dealer bbarney sold me this high speed and portable top of the range pc. and said as part of sales pitch
"I will not get any more rogue, malware and orher such problems"
All I am waiting for is for him to deliver my 36" flat screen monitor and modem to get the beast online.
while waiting for bbarney to deliver anyone know where I plug my old 15" monitor in, on this pc.
It was such a steal at $1999.99 I'm thinking of becoming the  uk agent fot this fine PC.

Update Today I took delivery of My new Floppy Drive for my System.
The OS I bought was SDOS version 1.02 the .02 = you are HD ready.

Most of you will know what OS, SDOS and HD stand for ,but for others they are
OS Operating System. SDOS = Slow Disc Operating System  (I wanted windows but bbarney said in uk they still have windows tax)
and HD = Hard Drive (bbarney said Like your tv. High-definition Ready)

The OS should be vary stable as it was writen in wizcode3.11, anyway here is a few new pics.

Thought I would share photo of the cpu and heat sink with you.
as you can see from this I can also use this as a still,
Quote
using wizcode here I see
I want want want one my dam thing is to slow, How fast does she blow

I get 3ml of white lightning per page of wizpic code, drinking some of this nector also helps writing and reading wizpic code.

And with the missing M key on the keyboard is a pain, I need to input the keyboard code every time I need to use the letter "M" (to understand this comment you need to watch the film "MARY and MAX")

And in the second picture you can see the mouse hole where upto 100 mice work the huge wheel to gernerate a massive 5Watts of electrickery to power the still cpu.
on the bench you can see the fully regulated power supply. this is fully monitored with a pic10F202 (I need to program this some time when Wilfred wirtes the hex code), he is still getting to grips with the almost well known wizcode.

Just a word of caution Don't over feed the mice as they tend to get fat and lazy, also the bigger they are then the bigger the fur balls are gumming thing's up

That just show's you what an intense training program we put our mice through,we tried gerbil's and the initial results were good but they burn themselves out too fast- kinda the tortise & the hare scenario one's a sprinter & the other is slow and steady heres afew pics of their training
