Title: Saving to older versions of ARES
Post by: loder on April 27, 2005, 04:39:07 04:39
hi ppl, is there a way how to save the .LYT designs done by ARES from the version 6.7 sp3 to any other older version.. let's say v6.0 ?
because if you save in the 6.7sp3 mode, the v6.0 would not be able to open the file. And our PCB design teacher told us that there might be some saving options so that the design can be read from almost any ARES version.

There Is A Way To Do This....

First:

You Can Use The ( Export Region ) Command From The File Menu In Proteus 6.7 Then Save It.....

If You Want To Open It In Older Version Of Proteus Use The (import Region).....

Second:

Just Open The Two Versions Of Proteus At The Same Time And Mark All The Parts U Need ( Or The Full Project) Use Copy And Paste (for Isis)

I Hope That Will Help........

I think that I will use the first option.. since this problem is occuring to us on our school pc's where we cannot install any software.
