I am confused whats the right way for me.

I am using Universal Programmer TOP2004  40pin zip soket From www.ty51.com

i am working with atmel and pic, but i want to work with pic18Fxxxx & dsp

my programmer didnt support pic18Fxxxx

if i want go to ICD+ICP whats the benifit. i am also using proteus.
is it support universal for all pic ICP?

or labtool-48 usb

Please advice me. where to go.

sorry for being too late
cause i'm newbee here

you can use a higher version of your programmer from the same company named top2048 or top2049

they ar around $130 to $150 resp.

or you can move to a highly professional one from xeltk like 280u,580uor 3000u but this is about $600,$750,$1100 resp.
