Title: USB Generic PIC Data Acquisition (Eagle Cad file only)
Post by: vbcoder on May 10, 2009, 11:58:25 11:58
Hi,
Somone asked me to help him in designing a USB based DAQ using PIC 16F877. I thought it would be great to share it with my community here

DAQ Schematic

Did you miss the code to make it all work or did you just wanted to share a "concept"?

To develop a USB based DAQ, you need to determine the "language" you are going to use on the PIC side "PICBASIC, C or assembly", and secondly, the language utilised on the PC "C#,VB or LABVIEW". It is easy to read documentation of "FT245" to know how to use the chip with PIC.

Also it gives you "complete examples" using VB and LABVIEW.

Before anyone else ask's for the code
What  vbcoder really means is here's the hardware but write your own code

Exactly! I appreciate his effort to share the HW design but thats less than half of the project. The other parts are PIC source code/hex as well as PC side source code/EXE.

Anyway, thanks for sharing the schema/PCB (only) but I think you should have been more clear about it from the beginning.

Point noted Cain and I've changed the Subject line to reflect what you really get so no one else is mis-lead
In the future VBCODER please state what your really offering in a better subject line
