Hello, everyone

I have a PIC that it is connected in a terminal TC65 of the Siemens, and then I ask: Exists the possibility of this terminal to detect originated tones DTMF, for example, of a cell phone, so that the PIC can interpret them? Huh

Hi, i don't know the TC65 but i decode the DTMF tone normally with a external decoder IC "MT8870" and a PIC16F628 it's very easy if you want i can send the schematic.

Using either an FFT or IIR filter will allow a software only decoding of DTMF

TC65 doesn´t decode the DTMF, use  MT8870.
You can generated but ATDXXX command.
XXXX is the number you can generated

the dtmf signals are not present on the terminal interface, just the audio output, cant get em via 'AT' commands

If this module had an audio exit of I would have eats to use the MT8870, would be more easy there. It is therefore that I am asking if exists another solution to detect signals DTMF. Some another tip?

I heard about a way to use the output of PCM audio directly into a microcontroller, never saw it working.

I still did not hear to speak of this Edson, but I will go to verify. It was valid for the tip.
