I have bunch of STM32F103 mcu that I thought they are originals, I can flash them normally and my project works 100%. Now I am trying to debug a new project but keil threw this error "Not a genuine ST Device"

I checked the ID (0x2BA01477) and yes it was not genuine, the correct ID must be 0x1BA01477

Does anyone know a way to debug those chip without using OpenOCD ?

NoteHi!
I'm a all around embedded systems person, hardware, very low-resource systems, but also computer vision. I've worked with wide range of architectures over the years, PIC, AVR, ARM, x86.
Currently professionally working in automotive for one of the big companies, after hours working on distributed control system based on rp2040 micros, written in rust.
I've stubmled upon sinsivri quite a few times over the years, I figure I might contribute. Last time I was part of a forum was... many years ago, I was like 14-16 back then, we'll see how it goes!

Have a good day whoever reads this.
BR,

I would like to ask for any resources regarding marine electronics and more specifically for Autonomous Surface Vehicles or remotely controlled surface vehicles.

Also, I would like to ask how are the available options to send control signals to a boat at a far distance?

Thanks in advance

NoteI have been working with pic microcontrollers for several years as a hobby.
I design simple measuring devices. I am learning myself by reading books and forums.
I want to develop in this direction, starting with more complex projects.
I don't know if I will be useful to the forum, but I will certainly learn a lot by participating in the discussions.

NoteUsed to program Intel 8085's for a living, using M80/L80 on a 6Mhz (!) Z80 - back in the day when 64K of ram was a BIG deal.
Now retired, I want to update my former skills in order to use modern chips.  Very much a hobbyist these days.
