Also from the same page (main page) marianqt gave above, have a look at the exlusive frequency counter that uses 2x16 line LCD.
I made it and works perfectly.

I didn't find a hex file for the exlusive frequency counter that uses 2x16 line LCD,any chance you have it?

I bought it as a kit.
I will try to read the PIC, if it is not copy protected I will upload the hex.

A Modified version of the above frequency counter... It counts frequencies up to 80MHz...

I already tried it and built it, and damn, it works...

You can find the source file on the PAGE

Hi,

Checking the links listed i found this project. http://www.marc.org.au/marc_proj_lcmeter.html
Using a PIC16F628 with a few parts and with hex files and code.
I am interested in assembly it. Anyone did it? It´s work fine?

Best regards,

Jwildes

Hi,
this is offtopic a little here, but look at this link:
 http://ironbark.bendigo.latrobe.edu.au/~rice/lc/index2.html
Here you can download also the asm source for the LC meter (lc2.txt).

This is an interesting project...
No, I don't tried it yet, but I want (will) prepare a Proteus simulation to try it, and I'll upload it.

Hi,
i found many link of LC Meter like this
http://electronics-diy.com/lc_meter.php
but i cannot find the formula or type of oscillator to calculate frequency.
can anyone explain me about this oscillator.

thank you.

I have made several frequency counters from this site
http://freenet-homepage.de/dl4yhf/freq_counter/freq_counter.html
Easy to make and very stable
