First...

go hire http://www.obdev.com/products/avrusb/projects.html. Lots of project using AVR to handle USB stack IO...

- you will found a clone for FT232  (... USB <=> UART )
- youl will found a clone for FT245 ( ... USB <=> Parallel)

may help ...
