hi to all member
i want to conect ps/2 mouse to pic16f84a or pic16f877 .
i have 2 question:
1)how conect mouse to pic16f with pic basic pro
2)is it possible make distance meter with ps/2 mouse and pic16f84a and lcd
software : pic basic pro
hardware: ps/2 mouse(scorol or optical),pic16f84a,lcd(for shown distance)

that link WILL help you do what tyou want !

1. You need to figure out how a PS2 is connected
2. You need to figure out the PS2 protocol used by Mice
3. Write code to handle the PS2 Protocol.

Simple.

Here you'll find PS/2 mouse driver on Proton+ Basic. You can easily adapt it for your app.
